We supply this program in our packages as a replacement for NotePad.  Why?  Mainly because NotePad has file size limitations but our editor can view simple text and table data.

For general text editing, I have found an excellent text editor called EditPad, that I find to be better than the Windows NotePad.  You can download this program from http://www.editpadclassic.com/.
